Founding Vertical Partner — Wealth Management & RIAs
This is an independent business-development partnership, not a conventional full-time employment position.
Apply NowHelp build the AI operating layer for the wealth-management industry.
DBLU is looking for an exceptionally well-connected wealth-management industry leader to become our Founding Vertical Partner for RIAs and Wealth Management.
This isn’t a traditional sales job. We’re looking for someone who already knows the industry, understands how advisory firms actually operate, and can call several managing partners, COOs, CTOs, advisors or RIA executives today and have them take the call.
DBLU is an early-stage AI software company building a secure platform that helps businesses deploy AI and agentic workflows across their existing systems while maintaining governance, privacy, human oversight and auditability.
For RIAs, that can mean connecting systems such as CRM, portfolio management, financial planning, custodial platforms, email and document repositories so AI can help automate workflows including prospect qualification, meeting preparation, client servicing, onboarding, compliance-sensitive communications, operational follow-up and internal knowledge retrieval.
We believe wealth management could become an important DBLU vertical. You would help us prove it and build it.
What you’ll do
- Introduce DBLU to RIA owners, executives and decision-makers in your network.
- Recruit approximately 5–10 strong early adopter/design-partner firms.
- Help identify the workflows wealth-management firms will pay most to automate.
- Participate in executive-level discovery conversations.
- Help DBLU refine its wealth-management positioning, product requirements and go-to-market strategy.
- Develop opportunities from introduction through commercial agreement.
- Become a visible industry advocate for DBLU where appropriate.
- Help us understand the systems, compliance requirements and buying dynamics unique to RIAs.
- Potentially build and lead the DBLU wealth-management business as the vertical grows.
You may be a great fit if...
You have substantial experience in or selling into RIAs, wealth-management firms, broker-dealers or related financial-services organizations.
Possible backgrounds include RIA executive or principal, wealth-tech executive, RIA consultant, custodian/platform executive, practice-management consultant, financial-services technology seller, industry association leader, or successful wholesaler/business-development executive.
When you hear “let’s find five RIA firms to test this with,” you already have names in mind.
What we’re looking for
Industry credibility matters more than traditional SaaS-sales credentials. Strong candidates will have 10+ years of relevant industry experience, strong relationships with RIA owners and executives, a sophisticated understanding of RIA operations, comfort discussing AI and workflow automation, consultative selling skills, entrepreneurial instincts, and interest in helping shape a company rather than simply carrying a quota.
Compensation
This opportunity is designed to offer startup-level upside: generous commissions on business you originate; meaningful equity participation tied to contribution and milestones; potential additional economics as the vertical scales; and an opportunity to transition into a senior leadership role if we establish product-market fit.
This is initially structured as a flexible, nonexclusive independent business-development partnership, not a conventional salaried position, subject to applicable worker-classification requirements. For the right person, the opportunity could evolve into leadership of DBLU’s Wealth Management business.
If you’ve spent years building relationships throughout the RIA community and believe AI is about to fundamentally change how advisory firms operate, we’d like to talk.
