Founding Vertical Partner — Immigration Law

Independent Partner Remote / North America

This is an independent business-development partnership, not a conventional full-time employment position.

Apply Now

Help define how immigration law firms use AI safely, securely and profitably.

DBLU is looking for an experienced and highly connected immigration-law industry expert to become our Founding Vertical Partner for Immigration Law.

Immigration firms present an unusually compelling opportunity for intelligent automation. They manage high inquiry volumes, repeated information collection, document-intensive processes, multilingual communication, deadlines, complex handoffs and highly sensitive client information.

AI can dramatically improve those workflows, but using AI irresponsibly in a legal practice creates equally significant risks. DBLU is being built for exactly that intersection.

Potential workflows include rapid lead response, potential-client qualification, consultation scheduling, intake and document collection, follow-up on incomplete intake, multilingual client communications, retainer follow-up, payment follow-up, internal task routing, document summarization, knowledge retrieval, client-status communications, referral follow-up, and attorney approval of sensitive AI-generated communications.

Case-management systems remain systems of record; DBLU helps automate the work happening between the people and systems surrounding them.

Why we’re hiring this role

We don’t want a generic software salesperson trying to learn immigration law from Google. We want someone the immigration-law community already knows and trusts.

You’ll:

  • Introduce DBLU to managing partners and immigration-firm executives.
  • Recruit approximately 5–10 early adopter/design-partner firms.
  • Help prioritize the most valuable workflows.
  • Participate in customer discovery and executive sales meetings.
  • Help us understand immigration-firm technology stacks and operational processes.
  • Shape DBLU’s vertical messaging and product roadmap.
  • Develop sales opportunities within your network.
  • Establish relationships with consultants, vendors and industry organizations.
  • Potentially lead the immigration vertical as it scales.

Possible backgrounds include immigration attorney or former attorney, immigration-firm executive/COO, immigration-law consultant, legal-technology executive, immigration software executive, legal-industry business-development leader, practice-management consultant, or industry association/community leader.

You do not necessarily need to be an attorney. You do need to understand the market and have relationships inside it.

Compensation

The package includes generous commissions on originated revenue, meaningful DBLU equity tied to contribution and milestones, upside as customers grow, potential economics associated with helping build the vertical, and an opportunity to become the long-term leader of DBLU’s Immigration Law business.

Initially, this will be structured as a flexible, nonexclusive independent business-development partnership, subject to applicable worker-classification requirements. As DBLU establishes repeatable traction in immigration law, the strongest partner could transition into a full-time senior leadership role.

If you have spent years developing relationships across the immigration-law community and want to help determine how this industry actually adopts AI, not just watch it happen, we’d like to talk.
